Accessing Mikurajima Island

You can travel to Mikurashima Island on a large ferry. Tokai Kisen operates one large ferry service to Mikurashima Island every day. The ferry departs from Takeshiba Wharf in Tokyo (an eight-minute walk from JR Hamamatsu-cho Station). From Takeshiba Pier, the trip takes about 7.5 hours. New Central Airservice operates three flights per day, and the flight time is about 50 minutes. From Miyakejima Island, take a helicopter to Mikurashima Island Island.
