Workshops in 2020
TMG has carried out its “3Rs and Waste Management” training program since 2002 in Tokyo, but considering the Covid-19 pandemic, we decided to hold the workshop online this year.
Now is the time for global solidarity. To overcome the COVID-19, Tokyo is enhancing its partnerships with cities around the world as well as Asia-Pacific countries.

Theme : “Infection Prevention Measures in Waste Management”
Date : October 14th, 2020
Participants : 48 participants from 12 cities (Bangkok, Dubai, Melbourne, Manila, Milan, Mexico City, Paris, Quezon, Seoul, Singapore, Tomsk, Yangon) and 10 participants from Japan including Tokyo
Program : (1) Special Lecture: Waste Management during the COVID-19 Pandemic –from response to recovery

Date : December 10th, 2020
Participants : 26 participants from 10 cities (Bangkok, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Jakarta,Melbourne, Quezon, Singapore, Tomsk, Turk, Yangon) 3 participants from C40 and ICLEI, and 17 participants from Japan.
