Tokyo Carbon Reporting Program for SMFs

In Tokyo, there are about 690,000 small and mediumsized facilities that consume less than 1,500 kl of crude oil per year (crude oil equivalent). They account for about 60% of the total CO2 emissions in the commercial and industrial sectors in Tokyo.TMG has implemented a mandatory carbon reduction reporting program for small and medium scale facilities to identify their CO2 emissions and support considering energy efficiency measures, since April 2010.
